Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man
living in the sky who watches everything you do,
every minute of every day. 
& the invisible man has a special list of ten things 
he does not want you to do.
& if you do any of these ten things, 
he has a special place, full of fire & smoke 
& burning & torture & anguish, 
where he will send you to live 
& suffer & burn & choke & scream 
& cry forever & ever 'til the end of time!                                     
There is something infantile in the presumption 
that somebody else has a responsibility
 to give your life meaning and point… 
The truly adult view, by contrast,
 is that our life is as meaningful, 
as full & as wonderful as we choose to make it.                          
 Being a humanist means not trying to behave  decently
 & expectation of rewards or punishment
 & condemn on the Anno Domini of Life.   
Atheism is, in the broadest sense, 
the absence of belief in the existence of deities.
Less broadly, atheism is the rejection of belief 
that any deities exist
In an even narrower sense, 
atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities.
humanism embraces human reason, 
ethics, social justice, and philosophical naturalism 
while specifically rejecting religious dogma, 
supernaturalism, pseudoscience, and superstition 
as the bases of morality and decision making.
